Annual Freedom Dinner and Auction Were a Great Success

Please view the great photos from the Freedom to Remember Dinner. Thank you Bonnie Carroll for a great evening in Canton. The S. N. Warner Family Association presented Bonnie Carroll with the first Freedom Award and a $1,000 donation to the TAPS organization based out of Washington DC.  The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors provides care whose loved ones have fallen in military service.  Please check out their website, www.taps.org  for more information on this great organization.

Please enjoy the photos taken by my friend Rich Patrick. We would like to thank all who attended the event at the Canton Club Events Center and all who donated items to the auction.

About the Freedom Award

The Freedom Award presented by the Warner Family is dedicated to honoring the life, sacrifice and legacy of their son and brother, Pvt. Heath Warner.

The award itself is a cut crystal eagle. The eagle is symbolic of freedom and best identies the attributes of the award winner. Living as he does on the tops of lofty mountains, amid the solitary grandeur of Nature, he has unlimited freedom, whether with strong pinions he sweeps into the valleys below, or upward into the boundless spaces beyond. The Freedom Award recipients are individuals who soar above the challenges of life and selflessly serve others in our community and country
