Roses Across America was a great day at the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial in Sunbury, Ohio. The day was sunny and briskly cool, but it did not deter from the event. There were about five Gold Star Famillies in attendance that placed the red roses at the memorials of our loved ones. Also there were another thirty friends and Patriot Guard members that came to support the Gold Star Families. The roses stood out against the white marble markers with the white snow on the ground. It was such a simple gesture to remember the fallen heroes – one red rose for each hero on Valentines Day. We hope it will become a tradition that continues now in Ohio in coming years.
