Registration is now open for the 5th Anniversary Memorial Day Race. Take advantage of early bird rates through February 29, 2012.
This past year we participated in the Corona Insights 2011 National Race Survey. Our race placed in the 91% in overall race satisfaction which included us in the Very Good race category.
Also, the survey identified that 30% learned of the Pvt. Heath Warner Memorial 5K Race by word of mouth and 40% by our race website. With that being said I am depending on my racing friends to spread the word and bring someone new with you this year by either telling a friend or sharing the link to the race registration.
We are also proud to announce our new intiative Boys on the Run – Heart of Hero Program (TM) . We are partnering with McGregor Elementary for a pilot program including curriculum that promotes integrity, character and living a healthy life style. The program culminates in the 4th and 5th grade boys running in the Pvt. Heath Warner 5K Memorial Race. We look forward to this new addition to the race and expanding it in the future to other schools.
