The S. N. Warner Family Association, Inc.
Creating a tribute to Heath has been a labor of love. We wanted to capture all the things that made Heath’s life special and at the same time carry on his legacy. As we worked through this, the purpose of his website became four fold, to honor the life and sacrifice of our beloved Heath, to centralize and archive the historical information of his life, to link with Heath’s friends and new friends about the latest events that celebrate his life and lastly to continue his legacy by promoting the endowment fund.
Our hope is that you will find this to be an interactive website. Enjoy the photos, videos, share memories, attend events, and stay connected with us. Do not worry, we will be contacting you as well if you leave your contact information in the Connect with Us tab. We hope to be able to send out electronic reminders to keep you informed of important event dates such as the Pvt. Heath D. Warner Memorial 5 K run and the Freedom to Remember Dinner and Auction.
With a portion of the funds the family received at Heath’s funeral services, an endowment fund was set up with the Stark Community Foundation. The S. N. Warner Family Association, Inc. will provide a not-for-profit umbrella to not only support Heath’s endowment fund, but also reach out to help children in the inner city and also help other Gold Star Families. The association will support organizations that promote the ideals that Heath believed in of God, family and country. All donations made payable to The S. N. Warner Family Association, Inc. may be eligible as a charitable deduction as the association is a registered nonprofit organization

Hi Tom, great questions. We initially helped fund an innercity proje ct at the Monroe Community Center, we are planning an Ohio Gold Star Family Retreat, Oct 12-13, 2012. I have already put a deposit at Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark Ohio outside of Columbus. At the dinner we are planning on having Bonnie Carrol the founder of TAPS attend the event to announce that they will be working with us to bring TAPS to the retreat. We also help memorialize Stark County’s fallen with banners and flags that we donated to the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum. I hope that answers your question. You can always call me if I can of any further assistance. God Bless, Scott
